Edge in Alaska

Celebrity Edge is set to make a spectacular debut in Alaska for the first time this summer, showcasing its groundbreaking outward-facing design in the stunning Alaskan wilderness. Beginning its maiden voyage in April 2024, Celebrity Edge will offer a seven-night roundtrip journey from Seattle, featuring a Dawes Glacier itinerary with stops in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway.

The ship’s design enhances the experience of exploring Alaska’s natural beauty. With its unique outward-facing layout, Celebrity Edge ensures guests have unparalleled views of the majestic glaciers and pristine landscapes. Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises, emphasizes that the ship’s design aims to forge a closer connection between travelers and their destinations.

From May through September 2024, travelers aboard Celebrity Edge can enjoy a variety of Alaskan adventures. The ship will offer roundtrip voyages from Seattle as well as one-way journeys between Vancouver and Seattle. Highlights of the itineraries include exploring Ketchikan, known as the “Salmon Capital of the World,” cruising through the Endicott Arm to view local wildlife, visiting Alaska’s capital, Juneau, and discovering Skagway. The journey will also include a scenic passage through the Inside Passage to Victoria before returning to Seattle.
